Muhammad Brown Picture Frame, Prophet Muhammad, also known as Muhammad ibn Abd Allah, was born in Mecca in 570 CE. He came from a respected but poor family, and as a young man, he worked as a merchant. At the age of 40, he began to receive revelations from God that were later recorded in the Quran, the holy book of Islam.
Muhammad’s teachings emphasized the oneness of God, moral responsibility, and the rejection of idolatry and social injustice.
He began preaching these teachings in Mecca, but they were not well received by the city’s powerful leaders and merchants. As a result, he and his followers were forced to migrate to Medina in 622 CE, an event known as the Hijra.
In Medina, Muhammad established an Islamic state and community and began to gain more followers. He also engaged in several military conflicts with Mecca, and by the time of his death in 632 CE, he had united much of Arabia under Islam.
Muhammad’s teachings and leadership had a profound impact on the Arabian Peninsula and beyond. His followers, known as Muslims, spread Islam to other parts of the world through trade and military conquests. Today, Islam is the second-largest religion in the world, with over 1.8 billion followers.
Prophet Muhammad is considered the final prophet of God in Islam and his teachings are considered the final and complete revelation of God’s word. His actions and sayings are also considered as an example to be followed by Muslims and his life is known as the “Sunnah” or the way of life of the Prophet.
Muhammad is also highly revered by Muslims as a moral and spiritual guide, and his birth
day is celebrated as a major holiday in the Muslim world.,
